How pre-orders work

Paying for a pre-order reserves your place in the queue. It is not a guarantee that we can supply you, and we'd rather be straight about that now than surprise you later.

Why we can't promise it

The publisher allocates stock to distributors, who allocate to shops like us. We don't find out how many boxes we're actually getting until a few weeks before release, and it's routinely fewer than we asked for. Every store is in the same position.

How we allocate what we get

When our allocation is confirmed, we fill orders in this order:

  1. People who play in events at the shop
  2. Everyone else, earliest order first

Where two orders land close together, we give the nod to customers who've shopped with us before. This does mean an earlier order isn't always filled ahead of a later one.

If we can't fill your order

You'll get one of three outcomes: everything you ordered; part of it, with the rest refunded; or none of it, refunded in full. We email everyone once allocation is confirmed — filled or not — and any refund is processed within 5 business days of that email, well before release day.

Sealed cases

A case is 12 boxes. If you order 12 we'll try to send you an unopened case, but we can't promise one — our allocation may arrive as loose boxes. You may receive a sealed case, 12 individual boxes, fewer boxes plus a refund for the difference, or a full refund.

The details

  • Payment in full at checkout.
  • Maximum 12 boxes per customer.
  • Cancel any time before release for a full refund — just email us.
  • The price you pay is locked. If we change the listed price before release, up or down, your order stands at what you paid. If it drops and you'd rather have the lower price, cancel and re-order.
  • Orders containing a pre-order ship together on release. If you add in-stock items, they wait too — order separately if you need them sooner.

Your rights

Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If we can't supply what you paid for, you get your money back.
